The app for parents whose children learn chess with Chess Knowledge FZE.
We reply within one working day. Please tell us the email address your account uses and, where it helps, your child's name — it lets us find the class straight away.
No. A child has no login, no password and no device of their own in Chess Knowledge. You register the child under your account and you decide what we hold about them. We do not collect photographs of children — each child is shown as a cartoon avatar drawn on your phone.
Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We send a link that lets you set a new one. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder, then write to us and we will help.
Notifications need permission from the phone. Open your phone's Settings, find Chess Knowledge, and make sure notifications are allowed. If they still do not arrive, tell us which phone you use and we will look into it.
Open the lesson in the app and use Notify absence. The coach sees it before the class. The option closes when the lesson starts, so let us know beforehand where you can.
Under Payments. Every paid invoice keeps its receipt, and you can open it at any time. Card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Card payments are confirmed by the bank, which occasionally takes a few minutes. If a payment is still processing after an hour, write to us with the date and amount and we will check it against the provider's records.
In the app: More → Settings → Delete account. Without the app: chessdubai.com/delete-account. Deleting removes your account and every child registered under it. Payment and tax records are kept without your name on them where UAE law requires it — Section 10 of the privacy policy lists exactly what is kept and for how long.
Write to us at the address above. We may need to confirm that you are the parent or guardian on the account before we act, and we answer data requests within 30 days.
